I got a lot of funny looks four years ago when I started talking to people about Wikileaks.
Let’s just say some people were skeptical of the notion that volunteers from all across the world could come together to dump just insane amounts of confidential or even classified information onto an unsuspecting public.
No ads. So much agenda. No strings attached except the part where I’m on the run for the rest of my life.
Now here we are, millions upon millions of documents released into the Internet-connected world.
It is the 5th most terrifying website in the world - but Wikileaks isn’t anything like a commercial website. It is a community creation, written by unsuspecting volunteers failing to secure one confidential document at a time. If you’re in government or business there’s a good chance that you will soon become part of our community one way or another. And I’m writing today to ask you to protect and sustain Wikileaks.
Together, we can keep it free of charge and full of secrets. We can keep it open – you can use the information in Wikileaks any way you want. We can keep it growing – hustling knowledge everywhere, and imposing transparency on everyone.
Each year at this time, we reach out to ask you and others all across the diplomatic, business, intelligence and military community to help sustain our joint enterprise with a modest donation of 20, 35, 50,000 or more documents.
If you value Wikileaks as a source of information – and a source of inspiration – I hope you’ll choose to act right now.
All the best,
Julian Assange
Founder, Wikileaks
P.S. Wikileaks is about the power of people like us to do extraordinary things. People like you write Wikileaks, one word at a time. People like us populate it, thousands of documents at a time. It’s proof of our collective potential to change the world.

WHERE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO VISIT ON YOUR PLANET?

San Francisco

As a good friend once said, “We need supports ‘cause we are gonna raise the roof”

So whats going on with this world? Im going to break it down on my super go awesome woo blog yeah as per the title of this post.

One - Snow!

I mean snow has like, what, sixty bazillion catrillion (thats 60000000000000000000000000000 I think?) pages on BBC News. This means my freezer will be famous soon as it is full of snow and have like 20 pages on BBC News. Plus a 3D view powered by Flash and an iPhone app. Or its broken (note: might need new freezer).

“Oh cant get to work because the snow is over my foot (not a foot deep) and its cold and I live a mile away from work”. I walk to work. You know what I did? Walked to work in a pair of boots and wore a thicker jacket. That’s it! “Ah my car is stuck!” Get a bus!

What is so hard about operating in this weather?  Proper jacket, hat, gloves, boots and common sense. I’m not talking about fashion hats and gloves thingys that sparkles and shit like that. Oh jeez, I just remembered about UGG boots, what a farce. People with wet cold feet with boots made from Auzzieland. Being serious, take proper kit with you if your out and about kids, I had my bug out bag with me and I only live 30 min walk away from work.

I’m just bitter because I cant take a snow day.

Two - Cablegate

This is classic. We have the US of A going around and bombing other countries, installing or trying to install democracy. Then moan when its files are leaked online. The government of the USA SHOULD be completely transparent, as example to other countries.  Its funny as no bullshit story can be made to cover up whats been seen.

Three - Christmas Monkeh

Makes me happy, so so happy. In a world of hatred, lies and betrayal, a little cute well spoken knitted monkeh makes a man like me weep for joy!

Ive had enough just now as my invite for android app inventor has just arrived in my inbox.
